Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, singer Shreya Ghoshal, rapper Karan Aujla, and actress Disha Patani will set the stage on fire before the big match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders. A spectacular entertainment show featuring top Bollywood stars will take place ahead of the match.

The opening ceremony, starting at 6 PM, is expected to feature Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, as per media reports. Additionally, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan might attend the event to promote his upcoming film Sikandar. However, uncertainty looms over whether the match will proceed as planned due to weather concerns. Fans are hoping for clear skies so that both the grand ceremony and the match can take place smoothly.

The event will include a countdown program at 6:05 PM, followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s performance at 6:13 PM. Shreya Ghoshal and Disha Patani will perform, while Karan Aujla will sing a duet with Disha. At 6:52 PM, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the stage to welcome the cricketers and discuss the importance of cricket and glamour. The ceremony will conclude with the captains’ grand entry at 6:54 PM, an IPL 18 cake-cutting event, a drone show, and a grand fireworks display at 7 PM. The IPL 2025 season opener between KKR and RCB will begin at 7:30 PM.
