The BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Edmonton, Canada, has been targeted in a disturbing act of vandalism. Anti-India slogans were spray-painted on the temple, marking another incident of aggression against Hindu places of worship in Canada.

This attack has been reported by the Hindu American Foundation on X, and the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce has denounced it as the latest assault on their community.

Canadian MP Chandra Arya, of Indian origin and one of the few Hindu MPs in Canada’s House of Commons, was threatened during this incident. Arya expressed growing concern over the increasing frequency of attacks on Hindu temples across Canada, following similar incidents in the Greater Toronto Area, British Columbia, and other regions.

This latest incident underscores a troubling trend of rising anti-Hindu sentiment and vandalism, drawing attention to the need for heightened security and community solidarity.
