Diplomatic efforts to bring an end to the ongoing conflict with Iran are continuing, even as tensions remain high. U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a renewed warning to Iran, urging the country to take negotiations seriously.

Trump stated that Iran’s stance during the talks appears inconsistent. According to him, while Iran is seeking an agreement behind the scenes, it is hesitant to publicly acknowledge it. He claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been significantly weakened, leaving little scope for recovery.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump asserted that Iran must act decisively and without delay. He warned that failure to do so could result in irreversible consequences, emphasizing that time is running out for meaningful action.

Earlier, while addressing a Republican Party fundraiser, Trump reiterated his position. He said that discussions to end the conflict are ongoing, but suggested that Iran is reluctant to openly admit its willingness to reach a deal due to internal pressures.

Meanwhile, Iran responded with a differing perspective. Officials indicated that while proposals are under consideration, there is currently no intention to engage in formal negotiations aimed at ending the conflict.

Trump also expressed dissatisfaction with the response of NATO countries. He criticized their lack of cooperation, stating that despite Iran’s weakened military condition, NATO allies have not provided adequate support. Although he noted that the United States does not depend on NATO, he remarked that their response during such a critical period would not be forgotten.
