Vallabhaneni Vamsi Faces Fresh Legal Trouble as Another Case Is Filed
Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India: YSRCP leader and former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has encountered a fresh setback. Authorities registered a new case against him at the Machavaram police station on Thursday.
Vijayawada, Dec 18 (Andhra Jyothi): Vallabhaneni Vamsi, a senior YSRCP leader and former legislator from Gannavaram, has been hit by an unexpected development. Based on a complaint submitted by an individual named Sunil, the Machavaram police have booked a case against Vamsi. The complainant alleged that he was attacked by Vamsi and his associates in July 2024. Following this complaint, police filed charges against Vamsi along with eight others.
Police officials stated that Satyavardhan was allegedly abducted and assaulted by Vamsi and his group. It may be recalled that Vallabhaneni Vamsi is currently out on bail in this matter. In 2023, an attack took place at the TDP office in Gannavaram, in which Satyavardhan emerged as a key witness. His statement played a significant role in that investigation.
Based on the complaint lodged by Satyavardhan, law enforcement earlier registered a case against Vallabhaneni Vamsi and his supporters. In his statement, Satyavardhan claimed he was attacked by Vamsi and his associates in July 2024. Acting on this information, the Machavaram police have once again booked Vamsi and eight others in connection with the incident.
