Ajith stated, “Some people are spreading false stories to create unnecessary misunderstandings. Vijay is like a brother to me, and I always wish him well. Fans should focus on positivity and happiness rather than unnecessary conflicts.”

Ajith also dismissed media reports suggesting a rift between the two following Vijay’s entry into politics. He emphasised that their friendship has always remained intact.

Responding to further rumors that Vijay hadn’t congratulated Ajith on receiving the Padma Bhushan award, Ajith’s manager clarified, “That news is untrue. Vijay personally sent his wishes immediately after the announcement. Their friendship is genuine and has stood strong over the years.”
