BPSC exam protest Patna
Students in Patna protested against the BPSC over allegations of a question paper leak in the 70th exam, marching toward CM Nitish Kumar's residence and gathering at Gandhi Maidan. Clashes with police occurred as students broke barricades, leading to water cannons and mild lathi charges. An FIR was filed against Prashant Kishor and over 600 others for instigating the unrest. Kishor joined the protest, assuring a delegation would meet the government to discuss demands. Political parties, including RJD and Congress, criticized the police's excessive force. The BPSC confirmed a re-exam for candidates at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar center on January 4, 2025.
