Chicago, Illinois, USA: A tragic incident involving an Indian student has come to light in the United States. A 26-year-old youth from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, reportedly died by suicide in Chicago, raising concerns over the challenges faced by international students amid a difficult job market.

The deceased, identified as Chandu, had been pursuing his studies at DePaul University and was actively searching for employment opportunities. However, due to the evolving job scenario in the United States, securing a job had become increasingly difficult.

Sources indicate that Chandu was under considerable stress as he had to depend on his family for financial support. Despite sustained efforts, he was unable to find suitable employment, which reportedly led to emotional distress.

On April 28, he allegedly ended his life by shooting himself in his apartment room. The incident came to light recently, leaving his family in deep shock and grief.

His parents, currently residing in Kurnool, are devastated upon receiving the news. Community members and organizations have expressed condolences and concern over the mental health pressures faced by students abroad.
