Pakistan Lucky Marwat Blast
Lucky Marwat, Bannu District, Pakiatan: A powerful explosion rocked a crowded market area in Lucky Marwat in northwest Pakistan, killing seven people, including two police officers, officials confirmed.
The blast occurred amid growing security concerns in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, which has witnessed a series of militant attacks in recent days. Authorities said multiple people were also injured in the explosion, while security forces launched an investigation into the incident.
The latest attack comes just days after a deadly suicide bombing targeted security personnel in Bannu District. In that incident, militants reportedly rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the Fateh Khel police post late on Saturday night.
The massive blast caused the police post building to collapse, resulting in the deaths of at least 21 security personnel. Officials also confirmed that several militants were killed during the exchange of fire that followed the attack.
No organization has officially claimed responsibility for either incident. However, security agencies suspect the involvement of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which has been linked to several recent attacks in the region.
