West Asia is witnessing heightened tensions with ongoing attacks and counter-attacks amid escalating US–Iran hostilities. Following the deteriorating security situation, both Israel and Iran have closed their airspace.

As a result, an Air India flight that departed from Delhi to Tel Aviv was forced to turn back mid-journey. The airline has announced the cancellation of several flights to West Asian destinations until further notice.

Another domestic carrier, IndiGo, has also suspended its flights to select West Asian countries. The airline stated that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority. It added that its teams are actively working to assist affected passengers and make necessary travel arrangements as the situation continues to evolve.

Meanwhile, Delhi Airport has issued an advisory warning passengers that international flights to certain West Asian destinations may face disruptions due to the unstable conditions in the region.

Several international airlines have also canceled their services to Iran and Israel. Carriers from Germany, Russia, France, and other countries have issued travel advisories and are closely monitoring the situation.
