Ajit Pawar Plane Crash
Fresh details have emerged in the investigation into the plane crash involving Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Preliminary findings indicate that the aircraft may not have been equipped with the GAGAN satellite-based navigation system, raising serious questions about aviation safety compliance.
According to officials involved in the probe, the absence of the GAGAN guidance system is being examined as a possible contributing factor to the crash. The system is designed to enhance flight accuracy and safety by providing precise navigation support to aircraft.
Investigators have also noted that the aircraft was registered just 28 days before new aviation safety regulations came into effect. Due to this timing, the mandatory installation of the GAGAN system may not have been enforced for the aircraft at the time of registration.
Authorities continue to analyze technical records and compliance details as part of the ongoing investigation. Further conclusions are expected once the full technical audit and regulatory review are completed.
