Elon Musk Links Tesla Cybertruck Explosion And New Orleans Truck Attack To Terrorism

Elon Musk has suggested a possible link between the Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas and the New Orleans truck attack, both of which he speculates could be acts of terrorism. The Cybertruck, rented through the Turo app, exploded outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas on January 1, 2025, after apparently carrying fireworks. One person died in the explosion, and seven others were injured. The explosion led to a large-scale evacuation, and authorities are investigating the incident.

Musk pointed out that both the Cybertruck explosion and the F-150 truck attack in New Orleans involved rented vehicles from Turo, hinting at a potential connection. The New Orleans attack, which occurred on New Year's Day, resulted in at least 10 deaths when a truck drove into a crowd in the French Quarter.

The Las Vegas explosion occurred in the valet area of the Trump International Hotel, with multiple explosions heard by witnesses. The FBI is investigating both incidents, but no definitive conclusions have been made yet.
