Job search in Germany is now easy. This one card is enough!

Do you want to work in Germany? If you have the necessary qualifications and skills, you can legally look for job opportunities in this country. For this, the government of that country will introduce a special card called 'Opportunity Card'. The German government will issue this card from next June to enable skilled job seekers to stay in Germany and find a job.

Foreigners who have received full recognition of their foreign qualifications and are considered 'Skilled Workers' can obtain this Opportunity Card without any special requirements. They are not required to submit proof of a permanent employment contract.

The Opportunity Card streamlines the job search process for candidates seeking employment in Germany. This allows applicants to work in Germany without a lengthy identification process. Proficiency in German (A1) or English (B2) is required, along with a minimum of two years of vocational training or a university degree.

Opportunity cards are issued for a maximum period of one year depending on the eligibility of the candidates.  Holders of this card can stay in Germany and try for a job.  Temporary employment may be undertaken for a maximum of 20 hours per week. There is a possibility to extend this opportunity card for another two years in case candidates find a good job there and are not able to get resident status.
