A woman, Dukhani Devi, was shot dead while confronting robbers at her home in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred in the Dargah locality under the Katra police station. Devi and her husband were awakened by a noise and saw intruders in their home. When Devi raised an alarm, the robbers shot her. Her cries alerted nearby villagers, who apprehended two of the robbers before they could escape. The police were informed, and the suspects were handed over to authorities. Devi later died from her injuries. The police have arrested the two suspects and are investigating the incident, aiming to arrest the remaining criminals.
