Worker Killed by Concrete Block at Jurong Island Demolition Site

Jurong Island worker death

A worker died on December 5 after being struck by a concrete block at a demolition site on Jurong Island. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the incident at around 5:40 pm. The worker was operating a drill excavator when the large block hit him. An SCDF paramedic pronounced him dead at the scene.
